I find this an excellent way to save money. I am currently saving for a trip to Australia, and have been putting money in this tin since May. I haven’t been able to touch a penny after it has been put in, so I think I must have quite a bit in there! And yet, the tin is still not full. It’s a large money tin, and the picture doesn’t really do it justice.
I haven’t tried opening it as of yet, but I shall let you know once I have!

perfect for reluctant savers ,once your moneys in you aint going to get at it unless you find a tin opener ,l managed to cram 600 pound coins in one tin never saved that in my life.the fact that its sealed is makes saving less challenging

Brilliant way to save money for special occasions, had a few of these over the years and are fantastic at saving my money for me, if I could open them the usual way then no money would be saved. With these I can save and am unableto take the odd pound out. When I have a holiday or trip arranged then it is ideal, I name the tin my holiday fund and by the time I am ready to go on my hols I know I have spending money, last time I opened one I had saved nearly £300, if I had been able to open it, I would probably only have a few pounds saved, so ideal. My son and a lot of my friends also use them.
